The terms that apply when you use our auto locksmith services.

Mathias Auto Locksmith is a sole trader business operated by Gareth Mathias, based in Basingstoke, Hampshire. References to "we", "us", or "our" in these terms refer to Mathias Auto Locksmith.

We provide professional auto locksmith services including vehicle lock outs, lost car key replacement, key reprogramming and programming, and broken key extraction. All services are carried out at the roadside or at your specified location within our service area (Basingstoke, Reading, Newbury, Aldershot, Andover, Winchester, and surrounding areas).
We will provide you with a clear, firm price over the telephone before we attend your location. The price quoted is the price you pay. No additional charges will be added after the fact without your explicit prior agreement.
Quotes are based on the information you provide at the time of the call. If the nature of the job differs materially from what was described, we reserve the right to revise the price before commencing work. We will always notify you of any change before proceeding.
All prices are in pounds sterling (GBP) and include labour for the agreed service. Additional parts (such as replacement keys or key fobs) will be quoted separately where applicable.
Payment is due on completion of the service, unless otherwise agreed in writing. We accept cash and bank transfer. We do not currently accept credit or debit card payments on-site.
Where payment is made by bank transfer, details will be provided at the time of the job.
By requesting our services, you confirm that:
We reserve the right to decline or discontinue a job if we have reasonable grounds to doubt that you have lawful authority over the vehicle.
If you need to cancel after we have already set out to your location, a call-out charge may apply to cover reasonable travel costs. We will inform you of this before attending wherever possible.
We take every precaution to carry out our work without causing damage to your vehicle. We use non-destructive entry methods and industry-standard techniques.
In the unlikely event that damage is caused directly as a result of our work, we will discuss this with you at the time. Our liability for any such damage is limited to the reasonable cost of repair.

Our total liability to you in connection with any single job shall not exceed the total amount you paid us for that job.
We aim to arrive within 30 to 60 minutes of your call. Response times are estimates and may vary depending on your location, traffic conditions, and demand at the time. We will keep you informed of our estimated arrival time and will notify you of any significant delay.
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page. The terms in force at the time you request a service are the terms that apply to that service.
